Get paid to read books.

Infinite Reviews is how books find readers fast. And it's how readers can take part in the process: get paid to read a book, join a writer's room and discuss the manuscript before it's published, and then get your name in the book's acknowledgements when it's published. Leave a review and build your reputation to get your choice of books before anyone else.

HOW IT WORKS

How it works

  1. 01

    PICK A BOOK

Choose from our upcoming titles. The payment for each title is published upfront, before you commit.

  2. 02

    READ IT

You get four weeks with the advance copy. Read at your usual pace — this is not a race.

  3. 03

    JOIN THE WRITER'S ROOM

After the reading window, join a virtual focus group with the author and editors — about an hour of what worked and what dragged, while the book can still change.

  4. 04

GET YOUR NAME IN THE BOOK

When the book is published, your name is in the acknowledgements. You helped shape it.

  5. 05

    BUILD YOUR REPUTATION

Reviews are always optional and honest — and readers who leave them are first in line for future books.

  6. 06

    GET PAID

Payment lands after the writer's room session — the exact amount is published with each title, no surprises.

Payment is for private, pre-publication feedback in writer's rooms — never for public reviews. Reviews stay voluntary, honest, and unpaid.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How do writer's room focus groups work?

Selected readers get the advance manuscript about four weeks before the session, then join a virtual focus group with the author and editors — typically around an hour — sharing what worked and what didn't while the book can still change. Participants are paid for the session and credited by name in the acknowledgements. That feedback is private and entirely separate from public reviews, which stay voluntary, honest, and unpaid.

How much do I get paid?

It depends on the title. Payment scales with the length of the manuscript and the scope of the focus group, and the exact amount is published with each book before you commit — no surprises after the fact. Payment is sent after the writer's room session, and it covers your private, pre-publication feedback only, never public reviews.

How much time does it take?

You get four weeks with each book, and the writer's room itself runs about an hour. Read at a normal pace — there is no prize for finishing the day the book arrives.

Do I have to review the book?

No. Reviews are always voluntary, unpaid, and honest, and they are never a condition of taking part. If you do want to review, post wherever you normally do once the book is out — and take your usual week or two with it first. Honest reviews from real readers are the whole point.

Is this allowed under retailer rules?

Yes. Providing free copies to volunteer readers is permitted as long as reviews are never required or influenced — which is exactly how we operate.

Who can join?

The founding cohort is US-only for now — retail stores and review sites differ by country, so we're starting where our first titles launch. You must be 18 or older, or have a parent or guardian's consent; payment may be restricted by applicable law in some cases.

When do you launch?

We are onboarding founding readers now, and the first two titles go out to the cohort soon. Signups are invited in order — founding readers first.

Are you an author interested in this as a service?

Right now Infinite Reviews is a tool we built for Infinite Books' own titles — not a service you can buy. If you'd want this for your book when that changes, leave your details and we'll reach out first.
